Definition:
The term Creative Economy refers to a set of interlocking sectors, and are a growing part of the global economy. They are often focused on creating and exploiting intellectual property products such as the arts, films, games or fashion designs, or providing business-to-business creative services.
Why creative economy?
According to the 2005 Shangai symposium there is a need for developing countries to engage in creative economy in order to meet the MDG by 2015.
With any innovative and creative activities most of these countries might not meet their targets.
Who will benefit from creative economy ?
Everyone will benefit from creative economy because on the side of producers most of these initiatives will intend to improve the level of life of people living in developing countries with $1 a day and on the side of consumers this new initiative will put on the market new articles that will have a meaningful story behind their production. |
